of Steel" - The Begining
The foundation of the Industry was laid by Mr. S.G.Patwardhan in 1978, With his immense design capability and zeal of research and development, He started with the manufacturing of sugar plant machinery and material handling equipments, after leaving Walchandnagar Industries. The first Nerves of Steel were introduction of Goliath / Gantry cranes for material handling - a very new Idea in Hyderabad for the Steel Industry. There are a many firsts in his cap, one of them being a special crane which could lift and handle material from other side of the rail !

- A Long time ago.
In 1990, The manufacturing range changed - A lot of IMPORT SUBSTITUTE machinery was developed, in co-operation with MARKWEL HOSE INDUSTRIES, (Now PARKER HOSE, Patancheru). The concentration was especially on research and developement of Rubber Hose Machinery. Here too there are numerous First's like - The Impulse Testing Machine for Hoses, THe Horizantal and Vertical Hose Crimping Machine. The long Length Hose Manufacturing LIne for Spiral Hoses. and Many More....

ENGINEERS - A Unending Journey.
A New Sun rose in the form of CARTEL ENGINEERS in 1996 - 1998, and here the basic foundations of CTL Lines and Slitting Lines were drawn. We began Manufacturing the Circle Cutting Lines for LPG cylinder manufacturers. These were hi productivity lines, which saved nearly 30% of material from getting wasted.
